Types of Knowledge

There are four types of knowledge that every teacher should have them for a successful learning and good climate in classroom:

1-Knowing of Content:
It is knowing''that'', teachers cannot teach students what they don't know.They need to know more than the basics of a topic, and they should understand how the topic is related to other topics.

2-Pedagogical Knowledge:
It is knowing"how", which means how to represent the topic, and make understanding of a topic easy. Students understand how to relate and apply the topic in their real world.

3-General Pedagogical Knowledge:
It is about understanding instructional strategies like questioning how to give instructions in a classroom.Besides, when a teacher have such knowledge, he can make super classroom management by planning, implementing and dealing well with misbehavior.

4-Knowledge of Learning and Learner:
Teachers don't teach content; they teach students. for that, they must adapt the instructions based on what students know, so they should be aware of their lives.Furthermore, they should promote discussion in class and ask questions reversely.
